Installed roll cage back into car, put handbrake cable and steering wheel back in and started on rewiring. I removed any wiring that was not required and took out all of the old wiring for the air conditioning switches etc.

Modifying Rear Guards For Wide Body Kit

9th March 2008
We lightly sanded the inside first thing and then Pre washed again before putting on the 2nd Coat. We realised that we would not have enough to finish the 2nd coat and got 90% of the second coat on before running out of paint. I couldn't get anymore paint as everywhere was shut so I then decided to work on the driver's side guard and got this done.

0.6mm Mig Wire

After playing around with the Mig on some thinner material with 0.9mm wire I realised that I needed to get a thinner side wire 0.6mm. I could not get a smooth weld on the thinner material no matter what I did and was blowing holes through the test bit left right and centre. I picked up some BOC Welding Wire 0.6mm for $71.54 from the BOC Gas and Gear in Moorebank.
